Hey, I’m Dave. I am passionate about old school tattooing. My approach to tattooing is heavily inspired by classic traditional imagery and vintage flash, and I prefer to stay rooted in that. Although I am currently not taking on a lot of fully custom projects, I am always happy to adapt classic concepts and designs to fit specific placements or gaps. My focus is on creating lasting tattoos with a strong traditional foundation. I always have a large selection of flash, line drawings, and vintage reference material to choose from at Top Mark Tattoo, and I encourage clients to pick something out at their appointment. This helps keep the foundation of early street shop tattooing alive!

I charge by the piece, and prices vary depending on detail, size, and placement. Typically palm-sized tattoos cost between $250-$350, and hand-sized tattoos cost $400-$500+. Large-scale tattoos are typically $200/hour. I have a $200 minimum.
Please pay with cash at your appointment.

I require a $100 non-refundable deposit for every appointment. This will hold your spot and go toward the cost of your tattoo(s). When you book an appointment, you will receive info on how to pay that deposit in an email. You will lose your deposit if you cancel your appointment within 48 hours of the time slot you booked or if you reschedule multiple times.

Yes, as long as it is outside of 48 hours before your appointment. When you book an appointment through Schedulista, you will receive a confirmation email. There are options to cancel/reschedule at the bottom of that confirmation email.
Multiple reschedules will lead to a lost deposit.

Yes, I make custom, unique tattoos all the time. Although there are certain things that do not translate into traditional tattoos as good as others. If you have an idea, send me a message and we can chat about it. If I think it will make a good tattoo in my style then we can make it happen.
At the end of the day, I always prefer to work from traditional imagery and vintage tattoo flash, both of which I have a lot to choose from.

I typically book out 1-2 months in advance. If youre hoping to get tattooed, keep an eye out on my schedule so you don’t miss your chance.
